Welcome to our Corporate Web Page of ICOftalmologia Project.  During the last 21 years  (1989-2010),  we have lived with enthusiasm the extraordinary changes experienced by ophthalmic science.

Vision has always been considered a fundamental function by mankind that on many occasions is threatened by disease or accidents,  as well hindered by the need to wear glasses or contact lenses. 



The research and medical sciences have been generous with ophthalmology. Now ophthalmologists have tools, medicines, techniques and knowledge that our predecessors could not have even imagined. 



Sharpness in visual quality, incurable disease control, speed and precision in microsurgical techniques, comfort during post-operative periods, security and trust in the medical and optometric indications; these words are common attributes in our work through them.  Fortunately, we hear terms like blindness, visual impairment and pain less and less in the eye clinics. 



But the road is long and there are still many unanswered questions and many visual disturbances to control. The investigation is continuing and, perhaps, future generations will experience new transformations that far exceed those that exist today.
